Product Information
Lemon grass oil is steam distilled from lemon grass (Cymbopogon flexuosus) growing wild amongst Chirpine forests in eastern Bhutan. The oil is of excellent quality with a minimum citral content of 75%.
Bio Bhutan provides organic certified lemon grass oil produced by the distillers of Dozam Community Forestry Management Group in Mongar district, Eastern Bhutan. This is the only community producing organic lemon grass oil certified by INDOCERT in accordance with the Indian and EU regulations.
Lemon grass oil can be used either as a sole component or as an ingredient in a mixture with other essential oils and herbs in perfumes, soaps, cosmetics and aroma therapy. It can also be used as a cleaning agent and insect repellent.
